We’re looking for skilled Industrial Butchers at all experience levels (Level 1–3) in Parkhill, ON. Whether you’re building your skills or an experienced deboning specialist, this role offers opportunities for growth, mentorship, and advancement.

Job Summary:
Industrial Butchers are responsible for cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing beef, veal, lamb, and goat according to production and customer specifications. This role ensures high product quality, operates industrial equipment safely, and contributes to a team-focused workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Cut, trim, debone, and prepare meat accurately according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain industrial equipment safely (band saws, grinders, slicers, tenderizers).
• Maintain consistent product quality, proper portioning, and packaging.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols (HACCP, CFIA).
• Collaborate with the team, share knowledge, and mentor less experienced butchers.
• Suggest improvements to workflow and processes to enhance productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

Qualifications:

• Level 1: Learning basic cuts, equipment use, and plant processes.
• Level 2: Performs standard cuts independently with good accuracy; some deboning experience preferred.
• Level 3: Expert in all cuts and deboning; provides guidance and mentorship to others.
• Knowledge of meat anatomy, cuts, and safety regulations.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina.
• Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: $18.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
