As part of the Middlesex Workforce Development Partnership, Community Employment Choices (CEC) is a service that connects qualified job seekers from diverse backgrounds with employers. With their main office in Strathroy and several community-based mobile offices (offered in partnership through Middlesex County libraries), CEC is here to empower you with an array of programs and services designed to kickstart your career journey.

Job Seeker Programs: Do you need help with drafting/editing your cover letter and resume? Are you looking to build your confidence and practice for your interviews? Interested in attending a workshop to help refine your skillset? The team at CEC is your one-stop-shop for all things employment.
Career Exploration & Planning: CEC’s Employment Advisors can get you started on identifying what types of roles would best suit you, based on an assessment of your personality, interests, values and abilities.
Training for Job Readiness: Access training resources that ensure you’re well-prepared for the job market. Whether you’re looking to enroll in college/university or an apprenticeship program, CEC has the information to you assist in determining your pathway.
