Job Description
Reading and interpreting blueprints in order to fabricate, assemble and repair structural elements on construction sites using MIG, TIG and STICK welding methods.
Welding of stainless steel pipe.
Other duties include welding repairs to equipment, as well as forklift operation.
The position demands a physically fit individual who is willing to work outdoors in the elements as well as perform pre-fabrication in our shop.
Education
Experience Required
MINIMUM of 10 years of full-time on-site construction experience using MIG, TIG and STICK welding of structural elements on construction sites.
Experience, training and certification in stainless steel pipe welding is also a requirement.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints are necessary skills.
Communication (written and oral) in English is essential.
Candidates must be certified to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Compensation and Benefits
The rate of pay for a qualified individual is $26.75/hr.
Life insurance, health and dental care benefits are available on a co-pay basis.
