Construction Working Foreman (specializing in Concrete Forming)

McCann Redi-Mix has been in business since 1953. We are a family owned and operated company. We take great pride in our redi-mix division, but as our slogan reads, we provide "more" to our customers. We offer a wide variety of other services ranging from concrete construction, aggregates, excavation, civil work and draglining. This is a full time position. 

Responsibilities include:

•    Read blueprints, participate in effective planning for construction schedule
•    Construct concrete foundations/structural walls using duraform and/or panel system including physically setting forms and tying rebar when required
•    Effectively lead a team of 5 to 15 form setters
•    Responsible for enforcing all project quality control
•    Responsible for enforcing all safety initiatives and workplace compliance
•    Collaborate with internal departments, including estimating, operations and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services
•    Effectively communicate with team members, general contractors and other sub trades
•    Proactively address customer's needs to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers 
•    Provide expert advice to customer regarding product specifications and applications
 

Qualifications include:

•    Minimum 5 years concrete forming experience (concrete finishing experience is an asset as well)
•    Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
•    Ability to muti-task and work under pressure and deadlines
•    Excellent planning, organizational, and implementation skills
•    Highly self-motivated, goal-orientated and capable of working independently
•    Ability to lift 50+ pounds 
•    Valid G License
