General Labourer - Landscaping

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated General Labourer - Landscaping to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various landscaping and forestry tasks, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction projects.
• Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Operate and maintain tree service equipment and forestry equipment 
• Perform tree removal, planting, and relocation.
• Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse.
• Repair and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Previous experience in landscaping or forestry is an asset but not required.
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience with backhoes, chainsaws, front-end loaders, tractors, skid steers, small engine equipment, and other related machinery.
• Work Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including wet, cold, hot, dusty, and noisy environments.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle heavy loads, perform repetitive tasks, and engage in activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements

• Transportation: Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Safety Gear: Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory.
