Volunteer Job Description
SARI Therapeutic Riding is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our event committees for a 3-6 month term. This role requires a commitment of one meeting per month, with additional hours as needed. As part of our team, you will help organize and execute one of our key fundraising events: Bowling for Ponies, Golf Tournament, Ride-a-Thon, or Artisan Auction.
About SARI Therapeutic Riding: Founded in 1978, SARI is dedicated to providing therapeutic experiences with horses for individuals with special needs. We offer programs that foster independence, promote social connections, and enhance physical and cognitive health. Our mission is supported by a committed team of volunteers and donors who help us make a meaningful impact in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Liaise with venues to secure event locations.
- - Assist in recruiting participants and securing sponsorships.
- - Support event setup and cleanup.
- - Provide on-site assistance during the event.
