General Labourer

Position Overview

Techemet is seeking a dependable and motivated General Labourer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who shows up ready to work, maintains a positive attitude, works well with others, and is willing to learn. It also allows the successful candidate to gain manufacturing experience, develop new skills, and potentially transition into a permanent full-time position based on performance, attendance, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of physical production duties.
• Safely move and handle materials weighing approximately 10–30 lbs on a regular basis.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and instructions.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and physical coordination when completing tasks.
• Take direction from supervisors
• Perform other general duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No formal education requirements.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is not required.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Positive attitude and energetic approach to work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good coordination and attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing and working for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift and handle 10–30 lbs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace instructions.
