Job Description
About the Position
Keifer Masonry is looking for a reliable and hardworking Masonry Labourer to join our team. Work is based out of Strathroy, Ontario, with job sites varying throughout Strathroy and the surrounding area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn the masonry trade. Previous masonry or construction experience is an asset, but no experience is required. We are willing to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with brick, block, and stone masonry work
- Mix mortar and prepare materials for masonry projects
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools and materials
- Assist the mason with daily construction activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site
- Follow directions and work safely as part of a team
- Perform general labour duties as required
- Work at different residential and commercial job sites as projects change
Education
Experience Required

- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation to meet at job sites throughout Strathroy and surrounding areas
- Masonry or construction experience is an asset, but not required
Compensation and Benefits

- Starting wage of $20.00/hour
