Job Description

Prime Barn Painters is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Barn Painters. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working on farms and rural properties.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare barn surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, and basic repairs.
  • Apply paint, stain, and protective coatings to barns, agricultural buildings, fences, and related structures.
  • Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, lifts, and other painting equipment safely.
  • Protect windows, doors, equipment, landscaping, and surrounding areas from overspray and paint.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow company safety procedures and job-site instructions.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous painting or construction experience is an asset but not required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Physically able to lift equipment and materials and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence are an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
