Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, part time, Gas Bar Attendant to join our team at McRobert Fuels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our gas and propane services, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate gas pumps and propane dispensers accurately and safely.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas bar area, including fuel pumps, propane storage, and surrounding areas.
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Assist customers with inquiries, including fuel types, pricing, and propane tank refills.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Education
Experience Required
Requirements:
Reliability and punctuality are required.
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating propane volumes.
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying propane tanks and other heavy objects (up to 30 lbs)
