Job Description

Canada Curling Stone Co. is seeking a reliable and versatile Machinist / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, has strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a hands-on machine shop environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience operating CNC machines, lathes, or other machining equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure smooth production processes
  • Read and understand machining terminology, measurements, and technical specifications
  • Understand machine shop operations and tools
  • Perform quality checks and maintain high attention to detail throughout production
  • Identify mechanical issues and assist with equipment problems as they arise
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal oversight while maintaining productivity standards
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of production and labour-related tasks outside of primary machining duties
  • Versatile and adapts quickly to changing priorities and production needs in a fast-paced environment

Lift and move materials/products weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
