Job Description

Job Summary

Frisa Farms is seeking 2–3 reliable and motivated Temporary General Labourers to assist with the assembly and installation of systems used in laying hen operations. This is a one-month contract position requiring individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to work efficiently in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble laying hen equipment according to specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Complete detailed assembly tasks requiring good fine motor skills and attention to detail.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet project timelines.
  • Perform other general labour duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced work environment.
  • Standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive hand movements throughout the day.
  • Indoor and outdoor work required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience using hand and power tools is required.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new assembly processes.
  • Strong fine motor skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Previous assembly, construction, manufacturing, or farm-related experience is an asset.
