Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Grade and sort eggs according to quality, size, and appearance standards.
  • Inspect eggs for cracks, defects, and cleanliness.
  • Package and label eggs for distribution and sale.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Operate and monitor egg grading equipment.
  • Follow all farm safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing grading and packing areas. 

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced agricultural production environment.
  • Exposure to dust, barn conditions, and varying temperatures.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable performing routine tasks while maintaining high quality standards
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Previous farm or food production experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
