We’re seeking a proactive Health & Safety Specialist to champion a strong safety culture in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of prevention. Conducting inspections, leading investigations, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You’ll partner with teams across the facility to identify risks before they become incidents and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. Education
Experience Required
Education/ Experience
-Occupational Health & Safety certification
-3-5 years’ experience in die casting Machining environments
-Working knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety Act, and Regulations and keep up-to-date on changes and knowledge of all health, safety & environmental legislation.
-Working Knowledge and/or relative training in Environmental legislation
Preferred
-Health & Safety Professional designation
( i.e. Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Canadian Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC)
-Industrial Hygiene knowledge and training
-Ergonomic & Kinesiology Training
-Auditor training for ISO 14000 or 18000 system

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $60,000-$70,000 based on qualifications and experience
