Job Description

We are currently seeking energetic, team-oriented Summer Student General Labourers to join our manufacturing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required
  • Perform physically demanding tasks related to window and door assembly and manufacturing
  • Follow safe work practices, company policies, and PPE requirements
  • Follow established procedures and processes to ensure quality and timely production
  • Perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Able to work at an established rate showing attention to detail and quality standards
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in various areas throughout the production floor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workplace
  • Adhere to standard production processes and procedures
  • Contribute to a respectful workplace with a positive attitude
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations

Experience Required

Qualifications and required skills:

  • High School Students (minimum 16 years old), University or College Students
  • Mechanically inclined with an interest in hands-on work
  • Manufacturing or production experience considered an asset
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools is considered an asset
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to different work areas and tasks
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull various materials and objects
  • Basic English reading and writing skills
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Reliable transportation required
  • CSA-approved safety shoes are required
