Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations. This role is well-suited for an individual with strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting - Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and assist with internal reporting requirements.
  • Payroll Administration - Process payroll in a timely manner, maintain employee payroll records, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Support the development of annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide variance analysis to assist leadership in informed decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable Management - Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices; maintain vendor relationships; and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • General Accounting Support - Maintain general ledgers, assist with audits, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Education

Post Secondary Diploma

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and accounts payable
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable systems)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
