Safe Home Fireplace Inc. - Southwestern Ontario (Strathroy & Sarnia)

Safe Home Fireplace Inc. is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team. This is a full time, in person position based primarily in Strathroy, with occasional shifts in Sarnia.

We specialize in fireplace installations and service, and we take pride in running efficient operations and delivering a high level of customer experience. This role is central to both.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule service and in-home consultations, building efficient routes by grouping jobs geographically
  • Manage and adjust the calendar in real time as changes arise
  • Support service operations through billing, administration, and customer follow-up
  • Complete and manage required forms, documentation, and internal processes
  • Learn and handle the day-to-day administrative nuances specific to the fireplace industry
  • Assist customers in the showroom when required, helping them explore and decide on fireplace options and guiding them toward in-home consultations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and builders

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of local geography (London, Sarnia, Strathroy, Chatham, Grand Bend, etc.)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture of the schedule
  • Quick learner with the ability to pick up industry-specific processes and requirements
  • Strong problem-solving ability and common-sense decision-making
  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting on the fly
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
  • Computer proficiency (Google Calendar required; QuickBooks is an asset)

 

 

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Saturday availability may be required
  • Primarily based in Strathroy, with flexibility to work in Sarnia as needed
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must speak clear, fluent English

Compensation and Benefits

  • $22.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Opportunity for growth into a long-term role within the company
