Job Description
Bryanston Esso in Ilderton, Ontario is currently seeking a Part-Time Gas Attendant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and able to work flexible hours.
As a Gas Attendant, you will be the face of our service station—providing friendly and efficient service to our customers while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
- Assist customers with fueling, air, and basic vehicle inquiries
- Process payments accurately using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of the pumps and forecourt
- Restock convenience items as needed
- Monitor site safety and report any concerns
- Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time role totaling 24 hours per week. Candidates must be available for flexible shifts during the following times:
- Thursdays & Fridays: Between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM
- Saturdays & Sundays: Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM
Shifts will be scheduled within these time frames, not exceeding 8 hours per shift.
Education
Experience Required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle (must be able to commute reliably)
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills suitable for engaging with our local customer base
- Previous customer service or retail experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
