Frontier Blade Solutions Inc. is hiring Mechanical Technicians (Tech 2 & Tech 3) to support our growing service division. We’re looking for self-sufficient, safety-minded professionals with strong mechanical backgrounds in wind turbine maintenance.

Position Details: Travel-Based Role: Work across multiple wind farm locations in Canada

  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform turbine maintenance and component replacements
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Conduct detailed tower inspections
  • Replace major and minor components
  • Complete job-specific documentation and checklists
  • Work as part of a small team in remote field environments

Experience Required

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working on GE, Siemens, or Vestas turbines

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and component systems

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various tower-level systems

  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

  • Certifications in GWO, Working at Heights, and First Aid (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of turbine operations and systems

  • GWO certifications (preferred): Working at Heights, BTT, Rescue

  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • Prior team leadership experience (for Team Lead applicants)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $29-$40/hr.
  • Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week + Paid Overtime
  • Per Diem + $2,000 Gear/Spending Allowance
  • Season-End Bonus for returning staff and based on company performance
