Job Description

The position of Trailer Technician is to provide services and repairs. This is a manual labour job, there will be some work outdoors in all weather conditions.

We are looking for someone with the ability to or has:

Diagnose wiring issues
Perform Routine maintenance of company equipment
Fix Defective or broken trailers
Drive Heavy Equipment
Attention to Detail
Takes pride in work
Willing to Learn
Problem Solving Skills
Perform some minor Welding
Politely acknowledge and great all customers
Keep trailers and yard clean and organized
PDI all new trailers coming in (pre delivery inspection)
Maintaining shop schedule by prioritizing customer demands
Unload trailer loads that come in
Filling out proper paperwork for each task as outlined by management
Assist customers with hook ups of trailers
Installing any extra accessories such as E-track, D-Rings, spare tire mounts, ladder racks, etc.

Experience Required

Knowledge of hooking up trailers and being comfortable with small parts installations in a garage setting is considered an asset
Trades fit and finish experience would be an asset
Experience driving tractors an asset
Would prefer local individuals
Must have reliable transportation
