Job Description
As an IT Systems Analyst, your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our clients' IT systems. In this dynamic environment, you will have a broad range of responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: You will provide technical support to our clients, addressing their IT issues and inquiries promptly and effectively. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software problems, resolving network issues, and assisting with system upgrades or migrations.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: You will monitor our clients' IT systems to ensure their continuous operation and optimal performance. This involves conducting regular system checks, applying necessary updates and patches, and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Network Administration: As part of a small team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections. You will configure and monitor network devices, implement security measures, and ensure network availability.
- Systems Analysis and Improvement: Collaborating closely with clients, you will analyze their existing IT systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions. This may involve evaluating software and hardware options, proposing system upgrades, or designing and implementing more efficient workflows.
- Documentation and Reporting: You will maintain accurate documentation of client systems, configurations, and procedures. Additionally, you will generate regular reports on system performance, identify trends or areas of concern, and present findings to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with our clients is vital. You will interact directly with clients, understanding their unique requirements, and providing proactive IT advice and recommendations. Your excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach will be key to ensuring client satisfaction.
Education
Experience Required
Professional Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and
infrastructure. - Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in system monitoring and maintenance.
- Familiarity with network administration and security practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with good documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive and customer-centric mindset.
