Expected hours are 20-30 hours per week. This position will start as part-time (start date April 21, 2025) with the potential of full-time.
Job Description
Responsibilities: GROOMER
- Groom dogs according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, trim nails and trim/groom dog's fur
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client's needs and concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs during the grooming process
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Responsibilities: KENNEL MANAGER
- Greet clients
- Book appointments
- Check dogs in and out
- Answer phone
- Take payment
- Feed dogs, administer medication when needed
- Clean dog runs
- Let dogs out and monitor for exercise and playtime
- Must be willing to handle all breeds and size, assistance available when needed

Education
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a dog groomer is preferred, but not required, willing to train
- Ability to handle and groom dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for different breeds
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dog owners effectively
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
- computer knowledge is an asset but willing to train
