Fulline Farm & Garden Equipment Ltd. has been John Deere dealer for over 36 years. We offer a complete line up of agricultural, construction, recreational and consumer equipment, including John Deere, JCB, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Stihl. We are seeking a Small Engine Service Technician with experience working with recreational brands or automotive.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all repairs, diagnosis and maintenance and pre-delivery inspections on a variety of product lines including, John Deere Lawn & Garden equipment, Arctic Cat and Polaris Recreational vehicles.
- Address customer concerns and resolve problems effectively and satisfactorily
- Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair or other service concerns to service writer or manager and documents on work order.
- Participates in Service Training programs as required for skills and knowledge development.
- Maintains condition of company special tools, computer and any related equipment.
- Follows all safety rules & regulations in performing work assignments.
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
Education
Experience Required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a related motive power field
- Small engine certification or equivalent certification, High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Experience working with recreational brands such as Polaris & Arctic Cat an asset but not required
- Ability to operate equipment and vehicles
- Ability to use a computer and various types of diagnostic equipment
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to maintain or upgrade technical skills when training is necessary
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Passion and commitment to overall growth of the business
