Job Description
Position Overview:
The General Manager will take full responsibility for managing our retail and online store. This role requires an organized, dependable individual capable of multitasking between customer service, inventory management, order fulfillment, and store upkeep. This person will also be creative, bringing forward ideas for merchandise displays, optimizing the customer experience flow, and streamlining order fulfillment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Deliver excellent in-store service, ensuring customers feel welcomed and valued.
- Retail Operations: Design and maintain engaging merchandise displays, organize store layout for optimal customer experience, and handle daily cleaning and presentation tasks.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, process incoming inventory, and ensure product availability both in-store and online.
- Order Fulfillment: Oversee packing and shipping of online orders, setting up an efficient, organized workflow.
- Social Media Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries across social media platforms, stay updated on current trends, and ensure a positive, engaging online presence.
- Leadership and Reliability: Set an example for punctuality, reliability, and adherence to store policies, ensuring these standards are maintained consistently.
Education
Experience Required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Post-secondary education in relevant field (business, consumer behaviour, marketing) or equivalent experience in business or management required.
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms and current trends.
- Knowledge of Sad Nuggie as a company and enthusiasm for our brand.
- Proven experience in retail management, customer service, or a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Creative and proactive mindset, with ideas for optimizing product displays, store layout, and order fulfillment flow.
- Exceptional reliability and ability to serve as a consistent example to other staff members.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment.
