Job Description

Tri-Township Arena in Mount Brydges is seeking a qualified individual to join our team for the position of Facility Operator.

Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Facility Operator performs work related to the day to day operation and maintenance of recreational facilities including arenas, parks, grounds and playfields. The incumbent will work in a team environment alongside other operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance of the above areas.

The successful candidate will work a minimum of 40 hours per week on a rotating shift including evenings and weekends. Competitive Hourly Rate, Benefit Package & Pension Plan.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Minimum Qualifications

- A high school diploma or equivalent

- A valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License

- Public relations experience when dealing with members of the public

- Current First Aid and CPR would be an asset

-Ability to provide a clean vulnerable sector check upon hire.

- Ability to use computers, related software and electronic controls

- ORFA Basic Refrigeration or equivalent is an asset

-Propane cylinder exchange certificate would be an asset

- Able to supervise and motivate casual staff

- Minimum 1 year experience in recreation/facility/park operations is an asset

- Self starter and able to work with minimal supervision
