Job Description

Are you looking to get into the trades? Unsure how? Ready to learn about carpentry? As a General Labourer at Komoka Carpentry, you will assist with various renovation projects in the local community. This is a temporary summer position from June to August, involving both indoor and outdoor work, including:

Demolition and installation of kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, and sheds.
Performing tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tiling, and painting.
Using power tools, heavy lifting, and carrying materials.
Working in diverse environments, adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of renovation projects, from demolition to finishing touches.
Follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Communicate respectfully with coworkers and clients.

Experience Required

Qualifications

Driver's license preferred.
Interest in starting a career in the trades, particularly carpentry.
Good manual dexterity and comfort with hands-on work.
Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors.
Experience with power tools is an asset.
Must be bondable.
