Crematorium Operator

Join Our Team as a Crematorium Operator: No Experience Required.

• Southwest Crematoriums Ltd. operates multiple locations across Southwestern and Central Ontario. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Full Time Crematorium Operator at our Strathroy location.

No prior experience is necessary, as we will provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain cremation equipment following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure the dignified and respectful handling of human remains.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of the cremation process and all related documentation.
• Communicate effectively with funeral providers.
• Maintain a clean and tidy and organized work environment
• Support families throughout the cremation process.

• Adhere to all workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Traits:

• Valid G class driver's license
• Strong communicator, detail-oriented, service-focused.
• Polite, professional, and works well with teams.
• Compassionate, organized, and takes pride in their work.
• Basic technological skills and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable leading witnessing's.
